I have gotten quality items tended and trimmed lovingly by the staff. Decent pricing for high-quality woody plants and some super values on 'forlorn' shipped trees that they'd prune up and lovingly let bush out. Great local nursery. Nice flowers and friendly service

Purchased a Japanese Red Maple tree (265.00) staff was polite and helpful ,about seven weeks later it is dead. Purchased same tree elsewhere a week later and planted them twenty feet apart- that tree is fine both trees had identical care. I went back to Grass Roots and was advised I should have watched out for the heat.What an insult. I asked if that was it and the reply was yep. I have bought other plants and flowers there befor- not any more. I will drive past there location to LOWES where the trees have a unconditional warranty. So much for trying to help local business.
