Memorial Drive Elementary School is a part of the Ware County School System, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1959, the school is located in Waycross, Ga. It is a Title I distinguished school that offers classes in English, mathematics, science, social studies and language arts to students in kindergarten through grade five. Additionally, Memorial Drive Elementary School s curriculum includes physical education, music, and arts and crafts. The school operates a library that houses a collection of textbooks, newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias, picture dictionaries and puzzles. Its staff members include a nurse, media specialist, counselor and subject teachers.
