Concerted Services Inc. is a community action agency originally established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to fight American s War on Poverty. Based in Waycross, Ga., the organization works to assist economically/financially deprived families and individuals across Southeast Georgia in achieving self-sufficiency. The agency s community service programs include emergency assistance, energy assistance, USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) commodities, case management services and food banks. Additionally, Concerted Services Inc. provides a line of community-based senior care services.
