I am not impressed so far with this health center. I'm pregnant and was sick for about a week and having bad stomach pains so I called in and was transferred to the nurse who proceeded to tell them that because I'm pregnant there is "nothing they can do" and that I have to "just suffer through." Which is b.s. they could have given me an antibiotics this isn't my first baby! So I told my husband what happened and furious he called down after hours and spoke to someone at the front desk who said that the nurse was wrong and that's not how they run there. In the days following I never received a phone call from any of my 3 doctors or nurse practitioner to see if the Baby and I were OK. Then at my appointment I told them what happened and NO ONE had even heard about it (which tells me they have a serious lack of communication.) On top of it they tried to give me a flu shot (AGAIN) because they couldn't remember or find that they gave me one at my last appointment. The same thing happened with the whooping cough shot at my NEXT appt. cause once again they couldn't remember giving it to me 2 weeks earlier at my last appointment. Then they wanted me to take the test for gestational diabetes AGAIN because even though I told them I was 23 weeks along they gave it to me anyway. Then they said they gave it to me a week early and even though everything looked OK and normal that they couldn't be sure so wanted me to take it again. I refused. I told them I couldn't afford another test. And honestly I don't see I should pay for their mistake. My latest problem is I requested NO male doctors when I first went there. There should be a note in the system, yet my next scheduled appt. is with a guy doc.!! I almost died 3 times giving birth to my first child, now with # 2 almost here, their incompetence is really making me scared. I'm concidering going somewhere else.
