Wauconda Grade School is an educational institution that enrolls more than 540 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in math, science, social studies and language arts. It also provides classes in music, art and physical education. Wauconda Grade School operates a parent-teacher organization that hosts various school activities and organizes fundraising events. The school also offers special education and Title I programs. It has a library that houses a selection of books and reading and reference materials. Wauconda Grade School organizes movie nights and book fairs. The school publishes a monthly newsletter and is governed by Community Unit School District 118.
