Bought a GLM lower unit. It blew the gears in less than 30 hours. Lee had me send it in at my cost, he repaired it. It blew again after less than 20 hours. This all took place in less than 18 months. After the 2nd one blew I said I just want a new one as the warranty is 2 full years. He said he couldn't honor that because it had been repaired. Which should have been replaced in the first place. Called GLM Corporate, they were less help than he was. He did say however he " would fix it again". I laughed and hung up the phone and junked the piece of ......... I paid 1595.00 for. GLM stands for Good Luck Marine. Hang up and keep looking for something worth it. He might be the nicest guy in the world but this is my experience. happed about 3 years ago and I still get a pit in my stomach when I think about it. Just happened to come across this site. It said to leave a review........so I did. And the person who put the lower in was an OMC boat mechanic for 20 years.
