WOW, WHAT HORRIBLE SERVICE! The lack of professionalism with this company is beyond anything I have ever dealt with. I requested the largest size truck for my move and they showed up with a medium sized truck because they said their large one broke down. We all agreed the truck was going to be too small, we had no choice but to use it. During the move I called the office to talk about what we could do to complete the move and I was told that I would be given some compensation or resolution before the move was complete. We had to take extra time and pick and choose what to move based on what they could best fit in the truck, resulting in a longer move time, which of course I paid for as well. After the truck was full I still had a good amount of stuff left over in a unit I could not close and had to continue renting at that point. We got to the new house and after everything was unloaded I still did not have any answer from the office on what they could do to correct the situation. Stupid me, in good faith, I took this company at their word. I paid my agreed fee plus the overage hours assuming they would reimburse me. The moving crew said that they would go back and get the rest of the stuff but I would be paying for additional overage hours. This move was an hour drive which would result in a lot more overage so I declined. In the end I had to make 3 additional trips, resulting in 6+ hours of driving alone to finish the move.



I have contacted the company on a number of occasions to try and come to a resolution since they did promise that to me. I finally got an email back and was told that they won’t do anything. I told them that this was unacceptable based on our conversations on the day of the move. It seems like they just told me what I wanted to hear so that they got paid and then moved on to the next opportunity. It’s been 8 weeks now and I still have not gotten an answer. I have contacted them numerous times and keep getting promises of return phone calls after a review of the order. I have been told multiple times that the owner is going to call. I’m promised a phone call back every Thursday and it never happens.



These people couldn’t be further from Excellent. It has been an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! I've read some other bad reviews online but took a chance after having a nice initial phone conversation with them. But don’t be fooled. The service is garbage. I have spoke with a number of people who at some point in their lives were movers for some of the other Boston moving companies and they can’t believe that these people run a business this way.



I assumed that the negative responses may have just been from a bad experience with a person in the company, but I now understand. I have gotten the run around and broken promises from everyone in the company from customer service up to the owner. Stay clear from this place, its a scam!

November 1st I hired Excellent...

November 1st I hired Excellent Movers for a 1 bedroom apartment-to-apartment move. All my furniture and electronics were brand new in mint condition since their initial delivery by Jordan’s furniture and Paul’s TV.



The movers were very slow stating they didn’t want to scratch my furniture. However, after they left I found my new bed, sofa table, and leather couch scratched. Also, my brand new sound bar and speaker system wasn’t working after they last touched it.



I reported the damage and Excellent movers and they asked me to take pictures and give the value of the damaged items. I provided them with images of the scratches and original receipts with date of purchase.



They wrote me back stating and I quote “Our foreman stated that during your move you said that a previous moving company had left damages to your furniture. After reviewing the damages with the foreman as well as my supervisor we have concluded that Excellent Moving and Storage is not responsible for the damages done to your furniture.”



Again my furniture had never been moved and had only been delivered to one location since purchase, which I have evidence. I am appalled at the lie and deception by false advertising that if they damage any items I am insured. Buyers beware! I am going to have to file with small claims court to let a judge decide. I wish I had gone with another company because this is a very costly mistake choosing the wrong moving company.
