A reconstructed log home and a visitors’ center commemorate events associated with the organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 1830. The visitors’ center includes artifacts, a film, and interactive displays about the translation of the Book of Mormon and the founding and growth of the Church.
