Sunnyside Country Club is located in Waterloo, Iowa, approximately 130 miles northeast of Des Moines. The country club provides 18 holes of golf with bluegrass fairways and bent grass greens. Sunnyside Country Club s private golf course has ponds that come into play on five separate occasions throughout the course. The fairways are frequently watered and many sand bunkers guard each hole along the way. The signature hole is the 18th hole, a 430-yard, par four that requires a tee shot up a dogleg right fairway, followed by an approach shot over a small lake to the green. Sunnyside Country Club invokes a dress code that requires collared shirts and Bermuda shorts. Denim is not allowed.
