Logan Middle School is an academic institution that offers a variety of learning and recreational opportunities. The school serves students in grades six through eight. It provides a character education program that focuses in the areas of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. The school offers instruction in math, reading and science. Logan Middle School organizes various athletic activities that include includes football, basketball, volleyball, wrestling and swimming. It provides guidance counseling services, as well as after-school programs. The school has a media center that stocks several books and magazines. It has partnerships with Craft Cochran, Antioch Baptist Church and the Gates Park Neighborhood Association. Logan Middle School is a part of Waterloo Community Schools, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools.
