Our company which manages real estate has been using Scott's Lock for over 20 years. They keep our key cuts on file so that when I need a new one, I can just call up and tell them to make it and then I can pick it up whenever I want. They have prompt service too for break-ins and emergency lock changes. We have been so happy with them that we have not used anyone else in over 20 years.

The ignition lock cylinder in my car bound up and my key wouldn't turn. I was stranded in my own driveway with the (power) windows down and no way to move it into the garage. Once I found out how to remove the cylinder (thank God for youtube) I was able to get it to Scott's on a Saturday and have it repaired in 10 minutes. Online forums reported people paying as much as $500 for towing, dealer parts, and labor for this repair; Scott's charged me less than a tenth of that. They were lifesavers for me this weekend, and prompt and friendly to boot. I prefer to support small local businesses, and it's a shame if some of the negative reviews are true. But one thing is for sure: I'm never having a key cut at Home Depot or a hardware store again, and when I when I get my gun safe it'll be from Scott's Lock & Key.

Terrible, If I would have known they could not fix a simple door lock I would have called anyone else first. They repaired our locks on our business doors than told me the dead bolts were no good. I let them install new "Industrial Strength" dead bolts on the doors. We now have very hard time unlocking and locking doors. This morning we had to break a window to get inside. Now we have locks on our business that do not work and a broken window on our door. Nice work Scotts. Oh, try to get a hold of them when you need them. Good luck.

VERY disappointed. Came out to replace three locks. Only gave me two keys & when I went to have more copies made, the hardware said they were specialty keys & cannot be copied. I was not informed of this by Scotts. Repairman also busted my fire escape door. When I called to tell him about it, he said he didn't do anything except replace the cylindar - yet my door was clearly taken apart & not put back correctly, which is why it jams. To add insult to injury, I found out the hardware has a lock service & can come out. Would've given me two keys per lock they installed. Next time, I'm calling Ace Hardware.
