That about sums it up, they have always been nice to me and I digg the food!

Place didn't look very clean and the food wasn't too good either (combo plates are about $10, not a bad deal, but the food wasn't good so it wasn't something I looked forward to having to pay).



The only reason I'm giving it more than 1 star is because it's right on the lake, which was great to look at (minus the fact that their patio is completely over grown and doesn't look like you can actually eat out there... There was maybe one table that wasn't engulfed by a tree, so people might be able to eat at that one... I guess...

My wife and I decided to try somewhere we haven't tried in a while. She remembers them being a great place to get chinese. Myself on the other hand, does ot remember anything. except the concrete statues that guard the entry and the beautiful lake it sits on. This time I will not forget. Our chicken that we still question to this day was painstakingly dry and flavorless. and service was awkwardly un accomodating and slow for a chinese restaurant. Needless to say we left barely eating anything. But laughed all the way home questioning what animal the meat came from.

P.S. : The reason for 1 star is because the fortune cookies were great.

My fiance and I moved to Novi and still drove to Waterford for their chinese food. And now we live in Holly, still do the same. We LOVE Carrie Lee's!

Very good food. Never a disappointment.

However, depending on what night of the week you go, sometimes the food is fresh and delicious and other times it tastes bland, but we still go. Also, you always have to ask for the dinner rolls, which I might add, are very good, but they don't bring them out unless you ask for them.
