Valley View School offers learning opportunities for students in grades five through eight. It provides classes in physical education, social studies, math, science, language arts and music. The school also offers special classes in art, computer education, instrumental music and foreign language. Valley View School organizes football, basketball, tennis and cross-country athletic activities. In addition, it operates basic skills, counseling and resource center departments. The school also has a student council and photography club. It additionally operates a library and media center. Located in Watchung, N.J., Valley View School is governed by the Watchung Borough Schools, which operates elementary and middle schools.
