Watauga Middle School, also known as WMS, is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It offers classes in math, science, social studies, language arts and English. The school operates a parent-teacher association and organizes various extracurricular programs, such as band, theater and choir. Watauga Middle School also conducts athletic activities, including basketball, cross-country, football and volleyball. It features a cafeteria and library and provides membership opportunities in the National Honor Junior Society. In addition, the school maintains a staff of over 65 individuals. Watauga Middle School offers the English as a Second Language program. It is a part of the Birdville Independent School District.
