Washougal Public Works Department is governed by the City of Washougal in Washington. It provides a range of services, including street maintenance, water / wastewater management, facilities maintenance, parks / recreation, cemetery and stromwater drainage to the residents of the city. Its Street Division preserves and maintains the community's investment in over 150 lane miles of roads, sidewalks, drainage systems, bridges, signs, vegetation and rights-of-way. The Water / Wastewater Division undertakes a range of preventative maintenance jobs pertaining to water and sewage facilities to avoid costly repairs and service outages. The City of Washougal is divided into departments, including finance, public works, community development, human resource, police, fire, code enforcer and utilities.
