The Centerville Police Department, a part of the city of Centerville, Ohio, provides a variety of law enforcement services. The department offers various community education programs, such as mystery night out and drug abuse resistance education. It also provides several citizen assistance programs, including vacation house checks and well-being call-in. The Centerville Police Department offers Project Life Saver in partnership with the Washington Township Fire Department. The department operates an Emergency Operations Center which helps community during crises. It maintains road patrol, criminal investigations and crime prevention divisions. The Centerville Police Department is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
