dont go there... i have had so many problems with this hospital. mistake after mistake and some of them were serious mistakes. I know that no matter where u go things happen but this place is horrible with their mistakes. They have left a tournique on my mothers arm for over an hour a aide saw it other wise who knows how long it would of been on and they lied about how long it was left on. THey let my mother who is paralyzed aspirate her feeding tube and she had to have a scope down to clear it out they almost killed her. They did some very unsterile and sickening mistakes that would make u throw up if i printed them. Trust me i will not take her back or anyone in my family to that place there are to many hospitals in pittsburgh who have so much better care please think twice before u use this place also there techniques are not up to the ones that they use in pittsburgh they do not have the top doctors to do most care there it is well woth the drive to go to pittsburgh if u have any serious issues. i will not use this place or ever recommend it.

This is an outstanding facility and the staff is exemplary. I come from a Central PA town with a level one trauma center and hospital. Washington Hospital outshines CVMH in all respects and on any day of the week. Unless it's a matter of life or death I'll be back in Washington Hospital before my home town hospital; for a life or death situation I'll insist on being transferred to Washington.
