My dad was a resident of Washington County Health Center. He suffered with Alzheimer's but only moved in there three years ago. Dad passed away on May 6, 2013. His passing was very peaceful and the staff did all they could to keep him comfortable. They made sure I was called in time to be able to be with Dad when he took his final breath. We cried together. I can never thank the staff enough for the loving care that dad received and how happy he always was when I visited him. Many thanks go out to our friends on 1 West. This isn't a nursing home, it's home for our loved ones where we know they are lovingly cared for through the painful process.
