Sarah has years of experience with all levels of riders, from brand new riders to competitive horse show-ers. She is currently teaching at Curvet Equestrian Sports in Washington, OK and has unlimited openings for new riders. Active member of USEF and attends all local shows. Specializes in working through issues and helping riders move to the next level through patient, clear instruction. She brings years of experience with many different types of horses, from Appaloosas and Quarter Horses to Thoroughbreds and Warmbloods. She specializes in starting horses under saddle and working through issues with performance horses. Using exercises to help horses develop the muscles they use during their work, Sarah has created a non-confrontational method of training that encourages the horse and rider to work together as partners. Before moving to harsher bits or longer spurs, Sarah insures the horse is comfortable in his work and understands what is being asked of him. Sarah has shown up to the Junior/AO Jumpers at USEF-recognized shows, has national and world show experience with Appaloosas and Quarter Horses, and has started babies for both the hunter/jumper and western rings.
