Formerly known as Mitretek Systems and established in 2007, Noblis, Inc. is a nonprofit science, technology and strategy organization provides solution to complex scientific systems, process and infrastructure problems. Located in Washington, D.C., the company serves clients from various fields, including national and homeland security; transportation; healthcare; criminal justice; energy and the environment; oceans, atmosphere and space; and public safety. It mission areas include center for sustainability, enterprise services, health innovation, national security and intelligence, transportation systems, among many. The company is the winner of the 2010 National Capital Business Ethics Award (NCBEA).
