Founded in 2003, the DC Prep Academy is a public charter school that operates various early childhood, elementary and middle schools. It serves students from pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school offers character education programs in various fields, including leadership, community building and punctuality. It also conducts a variety of enrichment programs that includes cultural and athletic activities. Its curriculum includes classes in math, art, music, science and English. The school conducts a variety of activities that includes class trips and summer camps. In addition, DC Prep Academy offers classes to low-income group students. It maintains one of its locations in Washington DC.
