It has partnership with Operation Lifesaver, for the safety and education of the members. It also partners with railroad museums, educational facilities, and train-related companies that provide education to people about trains. It also offers lessons on railroad technology and information on rail industry s issues facing by the industry. It also publishes various reading materials that include monthly newsletter and events calendar. RailFanClub also accepts donation to the Railroad Research Foundation that promotes awareness and education about the freight railroad industry.
