Winman Junior High School offers a wide range of academic and co-curricular programs to students. It provides a variety of academic programs that include various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, history, geography, government and physical education. It also offers classes in fine and performing arts, computer applications, and instrumental and vocal music. The school has a special and community education department for involving students in social services. It additionally organizes sports activities, accelerated reading and mathematics practice classes for select students. The school has an enrollment of more than 600 students in grades seven and eight. It is a public school, located in Warwick, R.I., and is operated by the Warwick School District.
