I am passionate about the work I do. It is my goal to empower you to live a happier, healthier, and more successful life. I will provide a calm, safe, supportive, and judgement free space for you to express your thoughts, your feelings, yourself. Together we will identify the reason or reasons you are seeking counseling and set goals to meet your needs. I am extremely skilled in finding ways to improve relationships. I can help you learn more effective ways of communicating, develop healthier boundaries, and better cope with stress, anger, and sadness. With your permission, I can work with your doctor to improve your health. I have experience helping people make positive personal changes to improve their health, such as maintaining a healthy diet, sustaining weight loss, abstaining from smoking or substance use, improving sleep, decreasing pain, finding ways to exercise, and following other treatment recommendations from your medical provider. I consider therapy an art. I have an eclectic therapeautic approach which combines strength-based theories of solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and family systems to name a few. I have many skills and techniques to share with you to help you to achieve your goals.
