Operational for more than 40 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of self-esteem programs and services for youths. It offers educational games, tutoring, recreation, and sports and physical education programs. The club also provides drug prevention, environmental awareness and community involvement programs. Its art programs focus on the cultural awareness through arts and crafts, creative writing, and visual and performing arts. Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick maintains a presence in Warrick, R.I., and is a part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which maintains over 4,000 clubs and serves nearly 4 million youths. Established in 1860, Boys & Girls Clubs of America employs approximately 50,000 trained employees.
