Never again

I've spent a lot of money at Blue Sky Spa. My mom has spent even more and my friends, who are the greatest, also spent a lot of money at Blue Sky, buying over $300 worth of gift cards for massages for me and mom after my father died from cancer earlier this year. Because of this, I'm very disappointed to have to say that I will never set foot in there again after the way they humiliated my mother. Our community dance company has partnered with Boston's top cancer Institute to throw a gala in Warwick, and every single penny we raise through vendors fees, advertising and donations will ALL go to cancer research. This requires a tremendous amount of work on our part, but we're committed to making this year's show really count. So when my mother, a long-time client, walked into Blue Sky Spa in Warwick and and spoke to the owner about buying an ad ($25) or contributing a gift card for the silent auction and was treated like a pan handler from off the street, we were both astounded by the audacity. It is not necessary to donate. Many people don't or can't. It is encouraged but not expected. What you CAN'T do is tell a valued customer, who has spent no less than $4000 at your establishment over the years, that you don't have time to speak to her and get "eight of these requests every day" (yeah right), then roll your eyes and wave her off and embarrass her in front of everyone there. Blue Sky is, all the while, soliciting customers for their own charity, wanting support from others, but not showing support in return. Business and charity work both ways. If you want people to support you in your efforts, then you support them in theirs. I won't be supporting their business anymore - not because the owner refused to donate, but because of the disrespectful, arrogant way she spoke to my mother - and if you are a customer I hope you consider following suit. That kind of treatment is totally uncalled for and unacceptable.

Blue Sky is SO great - I've have several facials, a massage or two and visit several times a year to get my hair done. While not inexpensive, it's worth the splurge...at least for those services mentioned. It's beautifully decorated, calm, clean and very private and isolated in the massage/facial rooms. I have never had to wait for an appointment - they are always on time and I never feel rushed though services. Massages and facials usually include personalized aromatherapy, which was unexpected. While I did really enjoy the Spa Pedicure I got once, and can't say anything bad about the service, I don't get them anymore because at $50.00 for the cheapest one, it's double the price of my favorite pedicure place. I do, however, love to splurge on the haircuts, which include a head massage, heated towel and lotion for your hands and coffee/tea/water - you don't get THAT everywhere!

Turn off your cell phones and let the aroma and services take you away. It was worth the experience. I save up my money and then can't choose from a pedi to a facial. My hair cut with Rebecca was wonderful. Very clean environment.

I've been here numerous times. I love this place. The staff is really nice and accommodating. I think the prices may be a little pricey, but well worth the visit. The facials are wonderful. YOu really do get more than just a facial, too. I feel like I had an entire body treatment, and it was only a facial. Highly recommended.

Very nice decor, good services, a place to pamper yourself.Customer service needs much improvement at the front desk though.Be careful, they overcharged me from listed price and were hostile that I wanted my money back. They didn't even give back the tax and were even more hostile when I asked about that. Rather than keep fighting about it, I walked away with less money than they owed me back. So, if you don't mind overspending on services and being treated rudely, this is the place for you!
