Our family has used this practice several times in the last 10 years. They are always the practice I recommend to area families, when asked. Upon entering the office one is greeted warmly and made to feel comfortable. That feeling extends into the private therapy rooms. As in any relationship, there may be one person with whom you are more comfortable talking with about a difficult situation, and my teenaged son found Sam to be just the right person for him. My son is now grown and doing well living on his own in another state. Still, if I run into Sam at the office I can count on loads of questions about how my son is doing, and genuine happiness at the good reports. Personally, I have found that Dr. Nover's attitudes about medication and therapy are very much in line with mine (open minded and not too extreme). When there is something that we don't see eye-to-eye on, Dr. Nover is always respectful of my position and works with me to find just the right treatment solution.

Dr. David Nover is an experienced clinical psychiatrist with an affable personality and a thorough knowledge of psychiatric illness and effective drug and talk therapies. His practice handles a child and adolescent patients as well as adults and couples. He is active in the community and can refer to halfway houses and other therapists within and outside his own practice. The office environment is professional but friendly and you get treatment here that is tailored to your individual needs.
