I purchased a Lopi fireplace insert from Wildscapes about three years ago, they also did the installation and have had nothing but problems with the system. Last weekend, we had a smoldering chimney fire and not only had the fire department out but it was followed by a qualified chimney sweep. Evidently, Wildscapes did a rather poor install. They didn't bother to clean the clay liner before installing the new liner and over the last few years (per the fire department and chimney sweep) the creosote has been smoldering off and on until it got to point last weekend that it filled my home with smoke. Also, they rigged a portion of the liner (where it comes into the firebox unit) and it came apart letting fumes back into the house. The firebox is working great now after our sweep spent 8 hours correcting the poor installation that Wildscapes provided.
