Champion High School is located in Warren, Ohio, and is a part of Champion Local Schools. The school serves students in grades nine through 12 and provides classes in English, math, art, social studies and physical education. It has a media center that features a variety of print and nonprint resources, including fiction and nonfiction books, encyclopedias, dictionaries and audiovisual materials. The school s science curriculum includes biology, physics, chemistry, and environmental and earth sciences. Its foreign language department offers classes in French, Spanish and German. The school organizes financial-aid nights, music concerts, parent-teacher conferences and after-school detention programs. It has a guidance department that publishes a newsletter that offers information on community colleges, college applications and scholarships.
