Alfie's is one of the premier northern Italian restaurants in the state of New Jersey. Chef Franco, has a unique imagination and culinary talent. Have been going there for years and have never been disappointed. Their fish dishes are deadly delicious and if you like shrimp try their 'Tony K' shrimp appetizer - it's not on the menu but they will make it for you. Spectacular, with great Cajun spices. Also, inquire about any 'trout' specials they may have. I never enjoyed trout before eating it here. Moist, delicate, and delicious. Their veal dishes are exceptional as well. But you cant go their without having their Calamari with sausage in balsamic vinegar appetizer. Never had calamari like this. The ambience is warm and cozy with huge windows all around the main dinning room. The staff is extremely attentive and pleasant to speak with. Kudos to owner Alfie and his staff for bringing all the right elements of dining together in a beautiful setting. BYOB
