Dr. Gilbert attended medical school at Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed her residency and internship at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Dr. Gilbert is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG). She has also earned the highest patient satisfaction award from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in 2005. Dr. Gilbert provides personalized care for her patients. She gives care and expertise in the following areas: expert obstetrical treatment; advanced, minimally invasive gynecological surgery options; open accessibility to her patients, with a dedication to personal consultations; modern treatments and preventative care that focuses on the overall health of her patients; dedicated customer service-driven staff, including a Registered Nurse who also provides lactation consultation, childbirth, and parenting education.
