Dr. Saroj Misra is a board certified Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment physician. He provides a comprehensive range of health promotion and disease prevention services, including, routine and maintenance care for most medical conditions. He specializes in women's health, hypertension, dyslipidemia, depression/anxiety, and osteopathic manipulative treatment for disease processes and chronic pain. Dr. Misra seeks to ensure that each patient is cared for in a manner that considers all elements related to the body, mind, and spirit for promotion of wellness or treatment of disease. He strives to focus on each patients specific needs to make sure they are always treated with respect and dignity. Dr. Misra graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency at St. John Oakland Hospital and a Primary Care Teaching Fellowship at Michigan State University-College of Human Medicine. Dr. Misra holds Academic Appointments with Michigan State University, De Moines University, Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and A.T. Still University. He also oversees the residency training program for St. John Macomb Hospital. Dr. Misra is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the Michigan Osteopathic Association, and the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
