We lived in a rental house for little over a year. During that time we had problems with a stove burner not working, pipe for washing machine leaked, air conditioning went out, venting for heat and air needed to be redone, leak in roof of screened in porch, and water damage in dining room wall. I soon grew to understand that I had to pick my battles, because each time I had a problem I had to make many calls to have issues worked on. Each call won me an excuse (oh the plumber has not called you, I thought that was fixed, oh I am sorry let me call back after I check on that, was I supposed to call you back, I am sorry I have been busy).
