Fishkill Plains Elementary School, established in 1955, provides educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. Its amenities include a gymnasium, cafeteria, library media center, resource center, computer laboratory, sports field and auditorium. Fishkill Plains Elementary School is a part of the Wappingers Central School District, which operates nearly 15 schools with a population of over 12,000 students. The school has a parent-teacher association that promotes understanding between parents, teachers and students and provides services to the school that help in maintaining a constructive working relationship.
