Walnut Creek Intermediate is an educational institution that serves more than 1,130 students in grades six through eight. It is a part of the Walnut Creek School District. The school offers instruction in English, math, science and social studies. Located in Walnut Creek, Calif., it offers courses in industrial technology and movie production. The school supports various after-school sports activities, such as basketball and volleyball. Walnut Creek Intermediate also operates chess and environmental clubs. The school operates a parent-teacher association that supports various educational and enrichment programs.
