Walnut Acres Elementary School is an educational institution that is a part of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. The school educates students in kindergarten through grade five. Located in Walnut Creek, Calif., it offers speech therapies for students with special needs. The school provides accelerated reader and gifted and talented education programs. It conducts computer education classes, as well as offers the CHARACTER COUNTS! program. Walnut Acres Elementary School provides activities, such as music and fine arts. The school also offers enrichment activities, including karate, chess and drama classes. It operates a parent-faculty club that supports educational and extracurricular programs. In addition, Walnut Acres Elementary School organizes spirit days, carnivals, book fairs and food drives.
