London Elementary School, located in Walnut Cove, N.C., serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school gives its Citizen of the Month award to the student who exhibits good behavior and citizenship skills during the month. It has a parent-teacher organization that sponsors fundraising events, book fairs and parent-teacher meetings. London Elementary School has a guidance department that provides counseling to parents, teachers and students. The school s academic curriculum includes language arts, English, math, science, social studies and physical education.
