Founded in 1971, Mark T. Sheehan High School is a comprehensive high school that offers a range of courses to meet students' academic needs and personal interests. It enrolls students in grades 9 through 12 and is located on a 44-acre campus that includes more than 50 classrooms and three computer laboratories. The school s indoor facilities include an auditorium, drama lecture room, gymnasium, media center, planetarium and natatorium. It also features football, track and soccer fields; tennis courts; enclosed baseball and softball fields; and practice facilities. The school s academic curriculum includes mathematics, world languages, social studies, technology education, family and consumer science, art and mathematics. Its media center stocks various magazines, CDs, videocassettes, books and electronic resources. The school is a part of Wallingford Public Schools and is located in Wallingford, Conn.
