E. C. Stevens Elementary School is affiliated with Wallingford Public Schools and is located in Wallingford, Conn. The school has a parent-teacher organization that organizes field trips, family picnics and dances, book fairs, cultural art events and a home reading incentive program. The parent-teacher organization also raises funds to purchase playground equipment, and materials for the music programs and classrooms. The school s library media center houses a collection of more than 15,000 items, including books, audio and videotapes, periodicals and CD-ROMs. The school offers an academic curriculum in kindergarten through grade five. E. C. Stevens Elementary School teaches various subjects, such as art, information technology, music, physical and special education, math, science and social studies.
