Walkertown Middle School is an educational institution that enrolls students in grades six through eight. Located in Walkertown, N.C., the school provides instruction in reading, math, science and social studies. It also conducts classes in business education, computer technology and Spanish. The school supports activities, such as visual arts and physical education. It offers character education sessions, as well as operates a band, orchestra and chorus. Walkertown Middle School provides a range of sports activities that includes basketball, volleyball, soccer, cheerleading, and track and field. Its library and media center offers the Battle of the Books program. The school has a parent-teacher-student association and organizes sports tournaments, family literacy events and book fairs. In addition, Walkertown Middle School provides meals and guidance counseling.
