One star is too generous. The bathroom project took two months longer then promised. Their workers are not professionals and often did not show up when they said they would. Workmanship was very poor. Much of it had to be redone. In fact, we did some of the repairs ourselves because we didn't trust them to do it right. Dealing with the owner was very frustrating. He would not remember what he said or what we said from one conversation to the next. I would definitely not recommend this business to anyone I liked.The men who installed the glass shower enclosure knew what they were doing, but they were from a different company entirely.

Horrible customer service. Granite countertops sized wrong installed poorly. Backsplash sloppy. Would not recommend. Rate as low as possible.

I got the best price on my hardwood flooring and the installation was done in a timely and professional fashon. These guys are great and I will certainly do business with them again.

I have not had a good experience with this company. They are EXTREMELY unprofessional. Do not expect them to show up on time! Even with a scheduled appointment, that is not a guarantee that they will show when scheduled. When you go to the store and meet with them, all seems well. Once they have your money in hand, good luck with actually getting the service requested. I shopped around and found that their prices were reasonable and that is why I chose them. Now, if being honest, when the work was done, I was satisfied. The issue is that you have to jump thru hoops to get them to do the work. I just don't think its worth that hassle. I would have preferred the extra cost and not the headache.

We have been doing business with United for over 25 years. They have done flooring for many of our friends and family. The new hardwood floors in our new home in La Plata, Maryland look great. This company is the best !!!

United Carpet & Rug, knocked holes in my kitchen wall, I had to have them re-caulk my counters after they left gaps in caulking, had to have the plumber return twice to fix newly installed sink. They cut my granite countertop into two sections which was no required and would not make good on counter. They do very poor work.Their workmen speak poor english, don't clean up behind their projects. Do not waste your time or money with this company.
