Walker, PhD, LPC, NCC, BCIA-C is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual and couples therapy, life / career / wellness coaching, biofeedback, and stress management for ages 14 and older. As a private practitioner with over 10 years experience, Dr. Walker works with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, couples work, assertiveness and communication skills, self-esteem, grief / loss, work-life balance, coaching, biofeedback, and stress management. She is an interactive, solution-focused and rational emotive behavioral therapist who incorporates a lot of mindfulness and awareness into her work with clients. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, Dr. Walker works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
