Established in 1885, the Visalia Unified School District is located in Visalia, Calif. The district s schools offer classes from kindergarten through grade 12. It governs 23 elementary schools, a newcomer language center, four middle schools, four high schools, a continuation high school, an adult school and a charter alternative academy. The district offers various sports program that include baseball, basketball, football, wrestling, hockey, volleyball and track. The district offers an academic program that includes comprehension, grammar, math skills reading and language arts in elementary grades.
