I've been a patron of this salon for many, many years and have never had any of the negative experiences described by castle0816. As a matter of fact, my experiences have been excellent, great service, no long waits, notified promptly of any changes in scheduling, and I've always been treated as a valued client. I grew up in the Los Angeles area and moved to Visalia in 1978. While in L.A., I went to many high end salons, so I know what to expect and Metropolis has always had the same high standards as salons such as Eric Serena in Hollywood, one of my L.A. favorites. I highly recommend Metropolis! Love you guys!

The Salon charges New York prices but is a far cry from New York customer service. After being a client for years, I have finally decided to stop patronizing this Salon. Extremely long wait times for an appointment with your own stylist, appointments cancelled at the last minute by the Salon or better yet not told till you arrive that your stylist is not there, loud and overly crowded Salon floor, had a very expensive winter coat stolen from the coat room which the Salon did absolutely nothing about. I would suggest Metropolis learn something about high end customer service before charging high end prices. After spending thousands of dollars at this establishment,I will definitely not be returning and would not recommend this Salon.
