      General Info
      Linwood Elementary offers a range of educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s curriculum includes reading, writing, social studies, math, science and English. It maintains a library and media center that stocks books, periodicals, and reference and instructional materials. The school also operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising events and programs. In addition, the school conducts a variety of activities that includes book fairs and family nights. Located in Visalia, Calif., Linwood Elementary is a part of the Visalia Unified School District, which serves more than 32,000 students and was founded in 1885. The school district governs a language center, charter alternative academy, and adult, elementary and high schools.
