Ive rented with equity group for almost 10 months now. Ive had nothing but problems with them and especially this guy name Leslie. He is the most rude and unprofessional guy ive ever rented from. when i moved in the oven had a huge gas leak. Took them 3 times to come out and fix it properly and had to live in my home without gas, heat for almost 2 weeks. They wouldnt refund the time for the red flag that gas company put on it. the side gate wasnt even there. Violation of safety code. As anyone can come into my yard. Took them 4-5 months to even put a gate on. Nothing but hassles to get that done. My home was robbed twice, first time the people had keys to my rental and didnt take anything but left every door open. I asked for new door locks, Leslie said he put new locks on the door. Which they didnt and i made them come out and change them and nothing but hassle. Second time they broke in the back door and busted the door and frame up pretty good and left every door open like the last time. They said i was liable to repair the damages. Doesnt state in the lease i was responsible cause i did not cause the damage to the home. I had police report done and everything and Leslie called me a Lier to my face. Well i made them fix the damages but with a huge hassle and had my lawyer review my lease agreement which stated i wasnt liable. When they came they seen my brothers dog which i got the ok from the equity group to have her and to be determind upon the owners pet deposit. I called 3 times, my mom called twice, and my dad went in and talked to Leslie about getting the pet deposit done. They were very rude to my father and my father is a very professional and respectful man. He told my dad well if he doesn't pay for the door I'll get him for a pet fine even after i got the ok to have her. They charged me 500$ fee. Which to this day I will not pay for. Ever since then Leslie has been out to get me. Today i recieved a 60 day notice on my door to quit which will be the end of my lease originally. Leslie planned this out. my father and I went in to find out why and when we went in, nothing but rudeness to me and my father. I wouldnt even shake his hand, my father did. This is by far the worst experience ive had with any rental company! I will never deal with equity group again and you can for sure know that all of the people i know will not go through this company. I will keep posting on every site and put this review on everything i can to get this out there. I am going forward with a lawyer and i believe i will take them to court over this cause discrimination against me.

I have had several problems with this company since they have taken over as property managers for my home. They do not return calls for maintenance requests, they say they didn't get the message, and they tell you that nobody is available to talk to you on the phone, when you go into the office to see them because they did not return your messages they say that they do not see people without appointments. They are very rude and unprofessional in person and on the phone.
