Advanced Career Institute has GREAT INSTRUCTORS!!! I passed both my written test, and drive test on the 1st try. The staff at Advanced Career Institute were all very friendly and helped make me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this school.

Advanced Career Institute has a great setup. Apart from great training, and great instructors, I really enjoyed the monthly B-B-Q's, The tools that Advanced Career Institute equipped us with (e.g. Pre-Trip packet, books, logbook class, etc.) really helped me out. The instructors were very good, and really helped me to learn how to shift the truck. I will definitely be recommending Advanced to other people. While I was training in school, I received a number of pre-hire letters from different companies. Now that I got my CDL, I am looking at going to work for Werner. I am setup to show up for orientation, and starting my new career. The job placement at Advanced is excellent, and they really help you out to the end. Keep up the great work.

Great school. I had no issues with my training. I trained out of the Fresno Campus and worked with a total of (2) different instructors. Both of my instructors were excellent. They walked me through step-by-step, and because of this school, I now have my Class A. License. I also graduated Friday, and was working with a Trucking Company on Monday. Thank you Advanced, and I think you guys are awesome.

Well the negative reviews are probably from people who just could not get the hang of driving the truck. I am a current student in the twenty week program and set to graduate in august. Everyone I see at school seems to be having a good time and learning. I get driving time every day. However you wont get to drive if you come in late and miss your chance. If your not fifteen minutes early then your late, that is just part of being a truck driver. Quit complaining and try harder.

Not a good school, It' a cdl mill. Instructors don't even instruct, but they will be sure to laugh at you, belittle you and when you ask for help they get irritated. You sure will see them smoke and play on their phones a lot and gossip. Their is a saying at the school, too many chiefs not enough Indians. Very unprofessional and very rude staff. They treat the yard like a prison yard. Forget about actual time in the truck, the student teacher ratio is 90 to 6. Carrie W is absolutely right
