I have all three of my daughters at this school and could not be happier with the ballet training. This is a serious classical ballet school and the training is the best in the area. They don't do a recital but they incorporate all levels into a beautiful ballet performance once a year. If you want your child to receive classical ballet training, even from an early age then you should check out this school. The school allows your child to try out a class for free and you get to observe the class too.

This is the school to bring your child to if you want your child to have serious ballet training. She expects that the children behave and she holds them to a high level of expectation of behavior. My child is very young and has been with Ms. Ana for about a year. I love that she teaches the younger children and does not have a teenager doing her job for her. She does also brings in the older girls occassionally to show the younger girls how they are supposed to dance and behave. This works because the younger children absolutely admire the older girls. If you just want a babysitter or want your child to run around in a tutu looking cute, this is not the school for your child b/c Ms. Ana loves her girls but will not tolerate misbehavior.

its the best dance school you will find in the area. Ms Ana Maria Martinez is professional. She has studied with many dance universities including ABT. She has had professional Russian Ballet training, and she has been dancing pretty much all her life. Her family is very famous in the dance industry. Her uncle was the director of many ballets, and started this dance school. This studio majors in ballet. Many students from this studio have been accepted into the BEST schools of the United States, all because of Ana Maria's training. If you want to go here, you have to be serious. She might be really demanding, but you WILL go places. For example, if you have heard of Denise Wall, she started from here. She started dancing here. then she made her own dance school. but everything started from VIRGINIA BEACH BALLET ACADEMY. I suggest you go here. However, just remember she majors in Ballet. There is also jazz, but go somewhere else for that. In the summer she will start doing modern dance
