Sullivans FAMILY AUTO REPAIR IS THE BIGGEST SCAM AT THE OCEANFRONT!!!! AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS. My $16 inspection went from that to headlight adjustments at $20 a piece and a lot more. Mind you they were installed by professionals two months prior to my inspection. Then they “claimed” my high beams did not work. Charged me another $50 to diagnose. Lol. That led to my turn signal no longer working properly. Plus my bed cover light was stuck on permanently. So You bring it back for them to fix issues at no cost right. Nope. They told me my connectors were corroded. Nothing under my hood is corroded at all. Neither were the connectors. My vehicle is garage kept and has less than 20,000 miles on it. They wanted an additional $90 to fix this also. I refused. So then they purposefully wired my mirror indicator light to be on permanently as well. So in total for a perfectly working vehicle, they wanted $210.00 total. I wanted to use a different tone of words here. But that would only bring me down to their level of what their missing in life. Which is obviously money and MORALE Maybe a drug problem. NOT SURE.

#WORST INSPECTION EVER

Took my car in to have alternator replaced did not put car parts back correctly and had to have alternator replaced after a week. Went back to see if alternator was still under warranty and they said its only under warranty for a year. Go to any auto parts place and they cover parts like that under lifetime warranty. So what happens is they charge you for a covered alternator and labor and keep all the money. So now im gonna buy an alternator thats covered with a lifetime warranty for 174.00 in which they charged me 200+ and install it myself now that i have the time. if you know someone you trust to do it use them instead it will help you in the long run and you wont get ripped off.

I took my car in to have a timing belt and fix an oil leak. A year later the mechanic is telling me I need a new timing belt and he can't fix the oil leak. I took it to another mechanic and he fixed the oil leak and replaced the timing belt. They should have fixed the problem the first time, and done it correctly.

I took my car to get it detailed the receptionist and manager were warm curtious. When I returned to pick up my vehicle parts if it had not been touched. I brought it to their attention. They kept the vehicle overnight, when I returned to pick it up I noticed that the backseat still looked bad I was told that alot if the stains may not come out so I thought nothing of it. When I got home I took a soapy rag and scrubbed it and the spot came out. I took the vehicle to another cleaning service and the seat looks brand new. So I ended up paying for the same service twice.

I took my car in to get the clutch replaced. He replaced the clutch and he charged me 1100 bucks!!! Granted thats my fault for not pricing around but i priced the parts and an entire STAGE 3 clutch kit (only got a stock one put in) was only 230 bucks. So i payed WAYYY to much. Now not even 5 months (about 8000 miles) later everything is going wrong with the clutch. Now he wants to charge me about another 500 bucks just to get it to shift again (not fix it completely). Now he is saying my master cylinder for the clutch is bad....the clutch pedal needs replaced. And that one of the plates (that he should have caught when he took the clutch apart the first time) is broken. So i would avoid this place if i were you.

Took my car there because it was overheating. Spent $150. The mechanic said it may overheat on me again even though he test drove it for 15 minutes. Sure enough, it overheated on me on my way home. They did not work with me at all after that. I have to take it somewhere else now.

I was recommended to Sullivan's family auto through a close friend. Since then, I have had a variety of vehicles in his shop with a vast array of issues. He is so honest and fair, I am happy to pay up front for services. He is such a rare and valuable find in today's profit driven market, I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has always worked so hard to find us the best option for our situation, and we have never been anything but grateful with the final results. I just wish everyone had such a high caliber mechanic they could trust! Thank you Tom!
