Needed a GM car key with security chip. Keywest had a blank, cut it and programmed it for a fraction of dealer price. Very friendly and knowlegable.
I just called for a quote. Got the quote (52.50) but the guy said he didn't have anyone available. Since I'm not locked out of my house or car (just my garage) I said is this all day with no one available or just this morning. He said "I just don't see it". I mean, it's 830am and he can't get anyone out here by 5pm with 3 employees and only 4 jobs?
I had broken my key off in my front door lock and couldn't get in. KeyWest Lock and Safe was the cheapest locksmith I called and they were at my doorstep in less than an hour. Very friendly technician and quick at getting me in the house.
Had a really worn out key for my 1989 Toyota Pickup. The dealer told me to take out the door lock and find the code. Called Key West Lock & Safe and they said to come over for a look before I take my door apart. After a friendly greeting they went right to work "building" me a key. Thirty minutes later, 2 new keys and a second key for my camper for under $10 bucks! Awesome!!! I will certainly use them as my locksmith from now on...
Absolutely the best locksmiths I have ever dealt with. They stayed open on a Friday (hours are 8-5 M-F) just for me to get 2 key copies made, didn't charge me extra (not to mention that the charge was the lowest I have ever seen anywhere) and the copies were excellent. The house key copies I got from a hardware store had metal filings hanging off them and some didn't even work, but the ones made at Keywest looked perfect and polished like the originals. These guys impressed me by going the extra mile and the quality of their work was top-notch. I can't recommend Keywest highly enough. While I was waiting, I looked at the used safes for sale in the store that can make it thru a fire. I had one of the 30-minute fire rated chinese safes (sentry) and my wife jacked it open with a screwdriver! The used safe prices got me thinking seriously about getting one that can survive hours in a fire and a 110-lb girl with a screwdriver! Bottom line - Keywest earned my loyalty.
Very professional people. Called and they had immediate response. I would reccomend to all
